MAIN HEADING INTERNATIONAL PAINT ANTIFOULINGS

TYPES OF ANTIFOULING The types of antofuling available can be split into two types, hard and eroding. You will also find other descriptions such as ablative, polishing or self-polishing. All these descriptions can be put under the umbrella of eroding antifoulings. 1. SPC (Self Polishing Polymer)

• SPC products form a chemical reaction with seawater delivering a constant biocide release. • Reduced leaching performance maintains protection for longer compared to polished antifouling systems. • Increased all-round performance for long periods between maintenance. • Haul and relaunch without repainting. 3. Hard • Hard, durable, season long finish. • Resistant to abraision and rubbing. • Suitable for fast craft and craft on dry moorings. • Scrubbale finish.

2. Polishing • Polishing action provides controlled biocide release for long term performance. • Wears away with use. • Low maintenance - reduced build-up shortens the preparation time. • Haul and relaunch without repainting.

4. Thin film • optimized for high speed.

• Ultra smooth, low friction surface for perfomance boat owners offering the following benefits: • Increase speed

• Improves fuel efficency • Mimimises paint build up
