JOTUN COMMERCIAL SAFEGUARD UNI TIE COAT PLUM 18 LITRE

A two-part polyamide cured vinyl epoxy-based coating formulated as a tie coat between epoxy primers and antifouling systems. Safeguard Universal ES can be used as tie coat/holding primer for a wide range of topcoats. This coating is to be used as tie coat in atmospheric and immersed environments and is suitable on approved primers on aluminium, carbon steel, galvanised and stainless steel substrates. It can also be applied at sub-zero surface temperatures.

Typical uses include on structural steel and piping exposed to corrosive environments up to very high and immersed.

This product is suitable for properly prepared carbon steel substrates and is recommended for topside, deck and superstructure or as a tie coat for anti-fouling systems.
