PVC inflatable boat material for repairing damaged tubes & floors. PVC is a vinyl polymer chemically known as polyvinyl chloride. In the inflatable boat industry it is used as a coating on polyester or nylon to increase the strength and tear resistance. Because it is a type of plastic, it can be thermobonded or glued. This allows the manufacturer to mass produce boats on a large scale with machines and unskilled labour. PVC FABRIC

HYPALON FABRIC

Hypalon inflatable boat material for repairing damaged tubes & floors. Hypalon is a synthetic rubber material patented by DuPont. Hypalon has many applications in many industries and it has proven itself as a material with excellent air holding capabilities and oil resistance. Hypalon coated onto polyester or nylon fabric with an interior coating of neoprene is a very reliable and durable inflatable boat fabric and can last for more than a decade even in the harshest environments.

2990 HYPALON ADHESIVE INFLATABLE BOAT ADHESIVE Solvent based polychloroprene rubber glue giving high strength bonds, particularly suitable for emergency repair of inflatable boats, RIBs and Dinghies. Will bond natural rubber, polychloroprene, butyl, nitrile, hypalon and polyurethane rubber materials, leather.

3026 PVC ADHESIVE INFLATABLE BOAT ADHESIVE Solvent based polyurethane adhesive giving excellent adhesion to both plasticised and unplasticised PVC nylon fabric, polyurethane fabric and foam. Use for repair of all PVC inflatables including Zodiac/ Bombard “Dynalon” and “Strongon” fabrics and Narwhal/Valiant “Hypertex”. Note : For a complete bond 2903 solvent (Part No. 5-81125 or 5-81126), must be used before the adhesive is applied.

Hypalon 1 Part Adhesive • Excellent resistance to heat, salt water and humidity. • Easy to use as a single part glue for quick and temporary repairs. • Cleaner - P510 Hypalon Solvent ( Part No. 5-81120 or 5-81121 ). 70ml - Part No. 5-81101 Hypalon 2 Part Adhesive As above, plus: • Easy to mix two part system supplied in sets with requisite amount of curing agent; can be used as a single part for quick temporary repairs. • Contact bonds in 10-15 minutes, full cure 48 hours. • Coverage - using 2 coats, 1 litre bonds 1 square metre. • Easy to apply by brush or roller 250ml Tin & Curing Agent.
