Owatrol Deks OLJE D2 High Gloss Oil Varnish 1 Litre

Owatrol Deks OLJE D1 Hardwood Oil 1 Litre

Deks Olje D2 is a varnish-like, tough, flexible and durable finish that enhances the natural beauty of both interior and exterior wood. It forms a highly flexible film which moves with the wood to prevent peeling and flaking. Deks Olje D2 is easy to apply and to maintain and the more coats you apply the more high gloss the finish will be. No sanding is required between coats and maintenance and repair can also be carried out without stripping. Before using Deks Olje D2, all wood surfaces should be treated and protected with Deks Olje D1 saturating wood oil. Unlike traditional varnishes, Deks Olje D2 will not craze or blister and because of Deks Olje D1’s penetrating qualities it will not peel or flake as water is unable to get in to the wood. On boats, D2 can be used for all applications above the waterline but please note that due to the high gloss finish it is not suitable for surfaces which will be walked on as it would be very slippery. Deks Olje D1 is a saturating wood oil which feeds the wood to replace lost oils. It drives out any moisture and air present in the wood and fills the pores with oil. This enriches and stabilises the wood to provide long-lasting protection to both interior and exterior timber. It does not form a film on the surface of the wood but protects from within

so it will not peel or crack. Deks Olje D1 is a clear oil which gives a clear matt finish enhancing the natural beauty of the wood and it is easy to maintain with no sanding or stripping. Deks Olje D1 has been developed for dense, oily and difficult to impregnate woods. You can use Deks Olje D1 on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. It provides protection against humidity and its effects as well as against damage from UV rays. When applied in marine environments you can apply to both above and below the waterline. It can also be used as a primer for conventional singles pack coatings and decorative finishes. For an intense high gloss finish topcoat with Deks Olje D1 with Deks Olje D2. PA-500

Anti Corrosive Primer

A high build, fast drying zinc phosphate primer suitable for iron and steel. Craftmaster Anti Corrosive Grey Primer has excellent scratch filling qualities and is easy to sand. It’s formulated for brushing, though also sprays very well with the addition of synthetic thinners. Anti Corrosive Grey Primer is available in 500ml, 1 litre and 2.5 litre tins. The perfect finish needs a firm foundation. Craftmaster High Build Undercoat offers (as the name implies) a high build paint to build film thickness for our Coach Enamel. Undercoat is an important part of the painting process, without it you risk applying a thin paint job that fades fast and doesn’t have the depth of colour and shine, consistent with a top quality finish.
