pre-installed to work with Fiat Ducato Euro V vehicles (without any reprogramming necessary) but will work with hundreds of different vehicles in the market, including all of the commercial based vehicles that you would expect i.e Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer, Citroen Relay, Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, VW T5, Renault Master and many more. Most of the leading insurers will insist that you have a Category 1 Alarm fitted, if you are a motorhome owner. The base vehicles tend to leave the manufacturers these days, with Cat 2 Immobilisers fitted. Many insurers will insist that a Cat 1 Alarm is fitted in conjunction to this. The result is that your vehicle would be Cat 1 and Cat 2 insurable. The Gemini Alarm is very adaptable. The user can add up to 55 different devices into the base alarm system. For example on a coach-built vehicle you would probably want the habitation door alarmed (wireless sensor needed), an on-board Motion alarm, maybe a couple of windows protecting (wireless window switches needed) and perhaps a skylight or roof box protecting (wireless sensors needed). There would still be room for dozens of other items to be added, such as additional key fobs. It really is a highly adaptable. The 50790 Alarm is delivered as standard with much the same spec as the 50800 alarm i.e. with: Alarm module, Siren, generic wiring loom and electronic override key. The 50790 model also has a specific T shaped wiring loom, which will in the future lead to easier installation of certain Tracking systems. The 50790 version is also supplied as standard complete with the Fiat Ducato bracket.

The Key fob is particularly useful when used with the Ducato vehicle. Ducato’s leave the factory with one key fob but also having a Gemini Alarm fob (in addition to the original Ducato one), gives the user more flexibility.
