SOG System

SOGs have been in the market for several years and are a highly popular item amongst caravaners and motorhomes alike. A SOG kit comprises various parts including a 12v fan/ filter / hoses and various adaptors. Having a SOG kit fitted to your Caravan or Motorhome means that you no longer must use any chemicals or special fast dissolving toilet paper. The SOG kit increases the airflow to the toilet waste tank (like that of an aeration tank at a treatment plant), thus ensuring that waste is broken down quickly. When the blade valve of your toilet is opened the fan will automatically “kick in” and ensure that no smells escape from the tank into the caravan or motorhome. Q - What is the difference between a SOG Kit and a SOG II Kit? A – The difference is that a SOG kit is for mounting to the outer compartment door or through the roof (depending on which model is preferred) and a SOG II kit is for mounting in remote locations and venting through the floor. The SOG and SOG II kits use two different kinds of filters. • I don’t want to change the external design of my vehicle. • I would like to install the system myself and I possess good technical skills. The SOG II kit – is the best fitting kit in the above instances as long as there is a space to locate the filter. SOG II guarantees absence of any odours. • My toilet door is not located on the same side as my awning. • I’m not bothered about altering the external appearance of my vehicle. • I had an original SOG mounted to my vehicle. In the above cases it’s best to utilise a SOG (door variant) kit. We recommend the SOG Roof variant kit for OEM fit, or to the after market, where the installation is possible. Which SOG is best for me? • My toilet door is on the same side as my awning. I regularly use a drive-away motor annex. •
