EPB-C Function (Ford)

During activation of the EPB a direct current motor is controlled via a map saved in the parking brake actuator module. The values deposited in the map serve as the reference values. The voltage signal given by the force sensor is compared with the reference values. If the reference value cannot be reached the direct current motor is not actuated any more.
