Performance test on roller dynamometer For the EPB performance test a measured braking action on the brake test bench is necessary. - The TÜV-mode is recognised automatically, when the following conditions are fulfilled-Ignition switched on.

- AUTO HOLD Function switched off

- the front wheels are stationary

- the rear wheels rotate constantly for at least 5s with a speed between 2.5 and 9 km/hr.

The start of the TÜV-mode is displayed by the lighting up of the fault lamps (1) for the EPB in the instrument cluster. After actuation of the EPB-button(2) the clamping force is built up in four stages.
