Brake lining replacement For brake lining replacement, it is enough if the wires are loosened, i.e. the parking brake is also released, and the ignition is switched off. Then the brake pads can be replaced as in the case of every usual parking brake.

Performance test on roller dynamometer Testing on a roller dynamometer is possible. In case of some systems it can happen, that the EPB is pulled in 2 stages. For other vehicles only one stage is foreseen and therefore leads rapidly to locking.
