AirCon Catalogue March 2021

Air Conditioning

The year of 2021 will be challenging and varied for many workshops across the UK and Europe, with the current economic environment the country is experiencing there are strong signs more than ever that newer vehicles will start hitting independent garages sooner than they would have previously as consumers look for ‘value for money’. 1234yf has now been the refrigerant of choice in all new manufactured vehicles since the start of 2017, these 4-year-old cars are now coming out of their warranty and service packages and entering the aftermarket. Coupled with those vehicles running on 1234yf since 2013, this year has never been a better year to invest in a 1234yf machine. With the numbers estimated at just over a 1/3 of vehicles having 1234yf it is an opportunity to not be missed out on. Many new cars on the road will now have air conditioning fitted as standard, identifying the

right air conditioning machine to enable your garage to service these vehicles effectively is an area that needs your full attention. Many customers will see air conditioning as invaluable, and servicing the system correctly leaves a notable difference to the driver, allowing them to fully appreciate the work you have done. New to range this year the Eck Next-PRO offers exceptional value for money and brings the features expected such as working on hybrid vehicles as standard and we are confident will become a firm favourite with many different workshops. Also consider the age of your R134a machine and the plan for replacement and the marketplace, there will be approximately 7 years left of any real R134a volume work so a dual gas machine may be the option if working to a budget or consider investing in something now whilst the value for money is still there.
