Intro Are you ready to make money in the 2023 season? It’s not part of a routine vehicle service, so your workshop might be missing out on this revenue stream in the rush to get vehicles out the door as quickly as possible. No matter what your Air con needs – we have something for you. Not only does this great value added service require minimal ‘hands on’ time from a technician, but, it can also pay back your investment in a matter of months. Transitioning to HFO – The New Gas Since 2017 over 12 million new vehicles have been manufactured in the UK and Ireland with HFO-1234yf (new gas) refrigerant, with this being the only gas now used in new vehicles. There are approximately 33.3m cars on the UK and Ireland roads, of which 40% are less than 6 years old. This means at least 13 million cars in the UK and Ireland are fitted with new gas. With manufacturer warranties and service packages either expired or close to expiring these vehicles are now entering the aftermarket in real volume. Coupled with those vehicles running on HFO-1234yf since 2013, there has never been a better time to invest in a machine running HFO-1234yf. With the majority of new cars on the road having air conditioning fitted as standard, identifying the right air conditioning machine to enable your garage to service these vehicles effectively is an area that needs your full attention. No matter what your Air con needs – we have something for you.

Are you customer ready? With the recovery of vehicle mobility many customers are now once again using their vehicles more frequently and see air conditioning as an invaluable experience and comfort to their driving experience. Servicing the system correctly leaves a notable difference to the driver, allowing them to fully appreciate the work you have done.

Looking to invest, consider a Dual-Gas machine

If you have an existing R134a (old gas) machine it might be time to consider any plans for replacement versus market conditions. We estimate there is approximately 5 years remaining of any real R134a volume work so a dual gas machine may be the option if working to a budget. Why not consider investing now whilst the value for money is still there.
