SHW, pioneer of the ventilated brake disc, is one of the world‘s leading brake disc manufacturer with a proud history dating back to the year 1365. In 1964, SHW and Porsche came together to develop the first internal ventilated brake disc, appearing as early as 1966 on the 911S. Today, the lightweight brake discs of SHW are part of the standard equipment on many of today’s new performance vehicles. Especially the composite brake discs in the patented pin-design set new standards in terms of lightweight as well as braking-performance and-comfort in extreme situations.
