GSNL 4 ROI

A message from Kevan Welcome to the latest edition of Garage Support. We’ve got some exciting and useful updates to share – all designed to support you and your customers in the months ahead. It’s our mission to help you run profitable, successful businesses – now and in the long term. It’s why our main focus is on the various ways in which you can a) increase revenues and b) cut costs – something that’s also important to drivers at the moment. Read on to find out how to develop your EV proposition and which winter vehicle checks to offer your customers when they come in. Also in this edition, you can find out more about how online ordering can benefit your business – especially with our brand new delivery tracking function, which means you can schedule jobs more accurately than ever and maximise uptime in the workshop. We’ve included some handy hints on energy efficiency (a win-win for your bottom line and for the planet), and a reminder about Payment Assist – something your customers are likely to value more than ever with Christmas just around the corner. A word of thanks from me for all you do to keep your customers moving – and to say we’re here to help with any business planning you’re doing as you think ahead to 2024. Whatever you need, from training and equipment to product support, and everything in between, that’s exactly what we’re here for. planning ahead for your business. The ‘Electric’ Switch On!

the road 2020 to 2025

Although the range of vehicles that are rolling into your workshop for servicing or repair, are powered mainly by the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), you’re also seeing a gradual increase of ‘Electric’ powertrains – Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles. Our independently verified data shows the gradual increase in the already and on-going popularity of electric vehicles. It is predicted that in the next two years that BEV and PHEV powered vehicles on the road will increase by 58% and 13% respectively. From 2025, the forecast continues on an upward trend by a further 27% for BEV and 3% for PHEV. Are you getting your business ready for the challenges ahead? There’s nothing more disappointing than a missed opportunity or worse losing a customer. Are you equipped with the skills to confidently service and repair the various makes and models of Battery and Plug-in Hybrid Electric vehicles? We will support and signpost on your ‘electric’ journey, providing market information, so you can make an informed decision on training requirements, finance and business benefits.
