Let’s talk gas R1234yf (new gas) has been the refrigerant of choice since 2017, with all new vehicles being manufactured using this gas. These vehicles are now hitting the aftermarket in volume, along with vehicles since 2013 also using ‘new gas’ there has never been a better time to invest in a ‘new gas’ compatible machine. Let’s not forget about R134a. There’s still around 6 years left of any real R134a volume work.
