Vehicles in the UK require MOTs to be road legal and worthy. This year has seen a significant change due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The statistics say:

Seat belt failures 2.2%

Drivers view of the road 8.7%

Body structure failure 1.9%

Fuel and emission 5.4%

Brakes failure 17.2%

Light signal failure 29.6%

Tyre and wheels failure 10.4%

Suspension failure 20.2%
