Air Conditioning Machine Operator Training 263772520 Overview and familiarisation of air conditioning unit: • Basic overview of machine operation

• Pre checks of using the machine where required • Adequate PPE and importance • Using Automatic function / procedure in machines.

• Individual functions of machines • Navigation of keypad / menus • Safe storage of unit / hoses / couplers etc.

Recovery Function • Correct connection to external refrigerant bottle • Refilling air conditioning unit with refrigerant correctly • Connecting to a vehicle (recognising ports) • Recovery function through machine as individual stage. Vacuum Function • Importance of a vacuum • How to pull a vacuum using the machine in manual operation • Basic maintenance of Vac pump to ‘top up oil’ when required.

Recharge • Using machine database to identify charge amounts • Using the machine to carry out recharge • Safe disconnection from the vehicle and preparing the machine ready for next use. Additional Features • Using oil / dye injection on air con machine • If applicable re calibration of sensors if available within the unit menus • Printer / history information and accessing of previous work completed • General ‘maintenance’ tips for the unit – how to monitor correct internal tank pressure / refrigerant and viewing filter life.
