25 GOOD TO KNOW

The ULEZ has expanded across all London boroughs As part of the mission to improve air quality, the low emissions zone has been extended. This change has been brought in to reduce the number of vehicles that don’t meet emissions standards. The ULEZ has already helped to reduce harmful nitrogen dioxide pollution by nearly half in central London and a fifth in inner London, so this extension should help to improve this further or see non-compliant vehicles face a charge.

GMS digital update – what you need to know

We are updating our GMS platforms – CarSys, TechMan, MAM’s Autowork Online and KiS, so that Digital Orders placed through these applications will go straight to print. The development also creates an auto IBT for any SKU’s that need fulfillment by a buddy branch. What are the benefits? • For GMS orders, there will no longer be the need to monitor the suspends screen • Manual IBT creation no longer required for GMS orders • Reduced risk of missed orders and therefore increases the confidence of workshops in utilising digital solutions for ordering • Consistency in our digital ordering customer journey across all digital solutions – GMS and Omnipart.

What do you need to do next?

• Open the Customer Engagement report, which now includes whether a workshop is running a GMS product linked to LKQ Euro Car Parts • If you have a customer with a GMS on the report, contact them to discuss how this change affects the journey of digital ordering.

If you have any questions please contact gms@eurocarparts.com.
