• Unique design to
guarantee the best possible performance • Wide range of different heat ratings for high thermal endurance • High-performance spark
Workshops need components they can trust... ones they can ‘fit and forget’.
NGK
NTK
plugs for the newest engine technologies.
NGK is a leading supplier of engine management sensors under its NTK brand. The company has a variety of sensors to satisfy workshop requirements including: • NTK LAMBDA SENSORS – the No.1 choice of VMs providing exactly the right sensor for every vehicle application.
NGK is the world’s No.1 spark plug with drivers benefitting from improved on-the-road performance and fuel economy coupled with lower emissions. NGK iridium spark plugs feature an iridium-alloy on the middle electrode. One of the world’s hardest metals, iridium starts melting at a temperature of 2,450°C and is therefore very resistant to spark erosion. Consequently, the service life is doubled on average in comparison to standard nickel spark plugs. While platinum spark plugs have a platinum plate on the middle electrode ensuring a more constant output of the spark plug over the entire service life, even under difficult conditions. Precious metal spark plugs may be more expensive, but when specified by vehicle manufacturers (VMs) and used during service and repair they will prevent possible problems due to:
They give: • Improved engine efficiency
• Reduced emissions • Increased economy.
The experience NGK has in supplying the VMs worldwide allows it to offer exactly the right sensor for every vehicle application with 986 part numbers giving 76 percent coverage of European vehicles. Other sensors include: • NTK CAMSHAFT & CRANKSHAFT SENSORS – comprising more than 200 UK-specific part numbers with excellent UK vehicle parc coverage. • NTK MAF & MAP SENSORS – a range of 87 NTK Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensors and 69 Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensors. • NTK EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE (EGT) SENSORS – with 38 part numbers covering 33 million cars.
• Poor ignition performances • Poor tolerance to fouling • Higher ignition coil loads • And increasing unwanted emissions.
NGK has been developing spark plug technology since the 1930s and manufactures spark plugs for every type of automotive engine. This is why the NGK product range has the right product for nearly every engine and every demand.
