■ More than three constant streaks in the outer 1/6 of the windscreen ■ One or more streaks in the centre 2/3 of the windscreen.

■ No streaks in the centre 2/3 of the windscreen ■ No more than three streaks in the outer 1/6 of the windscreen.

■ Wiper blade leaving water patches on the screen ■ Cracked, split or missing rubber from the wiper blade ■ Squeaking and juddering when wiping.
