The subtle reminder If your booking in process is automated and can be done online, why not add a message along with the confirmation that simply reminds them that if they had an advisory last time, they might want to consider getting their car in for repairs before the new MOT is carried out.

The follow-up During the quieter periods in your workshop and ahead of the known MOT peaks like March and September, why not get in touch with any customers that had an advisory on their MOT 6 months prior to see if they’d like to get their car in for the necessary repairs.
