LOW AND HIGH-PRESSURE EGR SYSTEM – EURO 6 AND TIER 2

To prevent the incorrect parts being sold, refer to the below diagram. Key things to remember: ■ Check the customer requirements ■ Euro 6 diesel models have 2 EGR valves (High Pressure & Low Pressure)​ ■ Low-Pressure EGR Valves are the latest technology – traditional EGR valves are the high-pressure style – Low-Pressure EGR valves have been added to the EGR system​ ■ Low-Pressure EGR valves are similar in appearance to Throttle Bodies (with butterfly valves).
