Profiling Point Cheltenham Profile
REMEMBER! • If a part number doesn’t sell, the profiling of that part number will be removed. • Lost sales help branches with their profiling – please try to log ALL lost sales where possible. • VOR is only classed as demand when it is either sold, or a lost sale is logged. • You need 3 demands (a combination of a sale or a lost sale) within 12 months for the part number to automatically profile into the branch. • There are parameters in place which will find false demand! If you have any profiling requests for Engine Management Parts, get your Branch Manager or Operations Manager to contact Colin Downie: Cisco: 7005 – 011 colin.downie@eurocarparts.com
It turns out Cheltenham customers crave OEM supplier parts and now Cheltenham has been profiled with the following OEM parts: 10 new Ignition Coils, 14 new Engine Sensors, 6 new EGR Valves, 2 new Electric Fuel Pumps and 11 new Lambda/ DPF sensors! The additional stock profile was created using a mixture of fast moving part numbers that other similar sized branches have, lost sales and VOR demands. Colin is currently working on a few profile requests, but is keen to hear if branches require additional profiling. The request should come from the Branch Manager or Operations Manager. They need to inform the team approximately how many additional SKUs of each product group and/or brand the branch can accommodate.
O ur Engine Management guru has been a very busy man, Colin has been visiting branches and profiling them for products. Recently, Colin visited our friends at the Cheltenham branch, he spoke to various members of staff and discussed what their customers want and what they are buying.
