This mushroom style air vent is suitable for deck mounting. It is heavy duty and robust enough to be stood on and to withstand general wear and tear on deck. This vent is also waterproof except when submerged. It can also be combined with a 2 speed heavy duty motor for excellent boat ventilation. These mushroom shaped vents can be closed tight when required, such as during hostile waters or adverse weather conditions. ELECTRIC VENTILATORS

Vetus electric ventilator fans are designed for ceiling or wall mounting in all areas requiring ventilation, such as saloons, cabins, heads and galleys. They are very quiet, as the motors do not use carbon brushes, making the vents suitable for night running. They also boast a very low level of energy consumption with a life expectancy of 50,000 hours. The fan motors are computer motors which can run at two different speeds, determined by the surface switch on the ventilator. This special motor means the vents are suitable for continuous running. The ventilators are also suitable for use in conjunction with Vetus deck vents - V-UFO and V-SCIROCCO.
