Over the past 50 years, Centek Industries engineers have custom designed over 15,000 fibreglass marine exhaust systems for boat builders worldwide. Centek are pioneers in the design of GRP exhaust systems. From inline Vernatone Mufflers, Vernalift, Waterlocks, Combo-Seps, Gen-Seps, through to a vast range of GRP Vernatube and connectors. Centek offer a GRP solution to almost any exhaust installation with more GRP exhaust products than any other manufacturer.

The advantages to be gained from using Centek GRP exhaust components are: • All fibreglass construction using the highest quality, heat resistant resins • They can withstand overheating to 177˚C (350˚F) • Corrosion resistant, unaffected by exhaust gas from petrol or diesel engines • Each unit comes complete with fitting instructions • Vernalift waterlock family meets ABYC specifications for lift mufflers • Ideal for use with Gen-Sep and Combo-Sep for generator applications • Made from GRP (Glass Reinforced Polymer) also known as FRP • No sacrifice on quality and will always go over specification • Very effective at reducing engine exhaust noise • Durable, lightweight and simple to install • Fire retardant approved materials • Dual stage units offer exceptional noise reduction

Why use fibreglass reinforced plastics to make wet exhaust marine mufflers? • GRP will not corrode or deteriorate when exposed to gasoline or diesel fumes mixed with salt or fresh water • Electrolysis and welds in stainless steel, which often cause early failure, are eliminated •

EXHAUST

Use this to work out how much water is in your exhaust hose when engine is running. We advise at the very maximum, you should have 50% water in the hose. The following formula will give you how much 50% is in litres. Inner radius (cm) x inner radius (cm) x length (cm) x Pi (3.14159), divided by 2, divided by 1000 = capacity (litres) of water in exhaust hose when engine is running. Not sure what you need? Resistance to higher temperatures which will not result in warping or melting often observed in some rubber or plastic mufflers The right muffler for any given vessel should be determined by following these simple steps: 1. Engine Location, 2. Exhaust Systems size (diameter), 3. Noise Reduction
