GEN-SEP EXHAUST GAS AND WATER SEPARATOR

Gen-Sep separators are designed to separate exhaust gases and coolant water in a marine wet exhaust system, before discarding the water below the waterline to eliminate splash. They also act as an exhaust muffler while routing all the exhaust gas and cooling water overboard separately. They are designed for use with diesel engines and particularly useful for those located amidships or well forward in the hull. All ports are situated on the bottom of the units, with two interchangeable ports for the inlet and outlet of exhaust gases and one central outlet for water drain. CHECK VALVES These exhaust non-return valves are made from the same fibreglass and fire retardant resins used to produce Vernatube, the UL listed tubing line. They are designed to be installed in the wet exhaust hose line to help hold back a surge of water from entering through the transom. They are lightweight, strong, non-corroding, and durable.
