Designed for water intake systems. These strainers are made from bronze and can be fitted over a bronze skin fitting to create a scoop strainer. The slotted design helps with water intake and also acts as a filter for debris. They feature 4 screw holes to fix to the bottom of the boat with a recess for the skin fitting. Part no. The scoop fits through the hull with the grating on the outside and the male threaded pipe leading inside, usually to a valve to open and close the intake.
