All senders are threaded 1/8” NPT Fine Male (thread adaptors shown on page 189) and work on both 12V and 24V DC electrical systems. • Single station - One sender operates one gauge • Dual station - One sender operates two gauges • Standard earth - Earth through the sender body. Has one electrical terminal • Insulated earth - Earth back to the battery (where earth means ground (G) and is negative and has two electrical terminals) • Sender / switches - Two in one. One terminal is to supply a gauge and the other terminal is a switch for an audio or visual alarm For low pressure switches, please see Electrical section, page 63.

MECHANICAL WATER TEMPERATURE SWITCH GAUGE

MECHANICAL WATER TEMPERATURE GAUGES Diaphragm-actuated gauge suitable for monitoring engine coolant water, as well as for industrial and automotive applications. Temperature increase causes the fluid in the sensing bulb to vaporize and apply pressure to the diaphragm. This is converted to mechanical movements to operate the water temperature gauge.
