MAIN HEADING SEALANTS & ADHESIVES
Sika® Primer-290 DC is a solvent-based primer suitable for experienced professional users only. The colourless to slightly yellow primer reacts with moisture to form a thin layer, acting as a link between substrates and adhesive/sealant. This primer is designed for the treatment of timber decking strips prior to caulking with Sikaflex®-290 DC or bonding with Sikaflex®-298. It improves adhesion on teak, mahogany, Oregon pine and GRP based on polyester. SIKA PRIMER 290DC SURFACE TREATMENT 250ML CAN NON-PIGMENTED
Sika® MultiPrimer Marine is a solvent-based primer formulated to react with moisture to form a thin layer that acts as a link between substrates and adhesives. The primer is formulated for treating bond faces prior to application of Sika's one-component polyurethanes. The colourless to slightly yellow primer improves adhesion on metals such as aluminium, steel, galvanisedanized steel and non-ferrous metal, and wood such as teak, mahogany, Oregon pine and cork. It can also be used to enhance the adhesion of Sikasil® sealants and adhesives. SIKA MULTIPRIMER MARINE SURFACE TREATMENT 250ML CAN COLOURLESS Note: Before using Sika® MultiPrimer Marine on materials prone to stress cracking, seek manufacturer's advice and perform tests on original substrates. SIKAFLEX 296 PU DIRECT GLAZING ADHESIVE 600ML UNIPACK BLACK Note: This product is suitable for experienced professional users only. Tests with actual substrates and conditions must be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility. Seek manufacturer's advice and perform tests on original substrates before using Sika® Primer-215 on materials prone to stress cracking. Part No. SK-184779 A one-litre tin of Sika® Aktivator-205 transparent solvent-based adhesion promoter for non-porous substrates. It is designed to treat bond faces before application of Sikaflex® and Sikasil® adhesives and sealants. The ‘Aktivator' is designed to react with moisture and deposit active groups on the substrate, which act as a link between substrates and primers or sealants/adhesives. SIKA AKTIVATOR 205 ADHESION PROMOTER CAN COLOURLESS 250ml Part No. SK-3210 1L Part No. SK-117498 Sikaflex®-296 is an elastic gap-filling polyurethane adhesive for glass windows in the ship building industry. The high-performance one-component adhesive is formulated to cure on exposure to atmospheric moisture. It is suitable for most mineral glazing applications in the ship building industry and meets the regulations set out by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
Part No. SK-1420
Note: Before application, the substrate must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil, dust and contaminants. Adhesion on substrates may be improved by adding and/or combining pretreatment processes such as scuffing and cleaning. The user should seek manufacturer's advice and perform tests on original substrates before using Sika® Primer-290 DC on materials prone to stress cracking.
SIKA PRIMER 215 SURFACE TREATMENT CAN NON-PIGMENTED
A one-litre can of Sika® Primer-215 solvent-based primer, designed to improve adhesion on plastics and wood substrates including GRP, epoxy resins, PVC, ABS and timber. The non-pigmented formula reacts with moisture and forms a thin layer that acts as a link between substrates and adhesives.

SIKA PRIMER 209D ADHESION PROMOTER 250ML CAN BLACK
Sika® Primer-209 D is a black, moisture-curing low viscosity primer specifically formulated for the treatment of painted surfaces or plastics prior to the application of Sikaflex® direct-glazing adhesive. The moisture-curing primer improves adhesion to a range of substrates including acrylics, alkyds/ melamine, powder coatings, baking varnishes and plastics including polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA), polycarbonate (PC), polystyrene (PS), glass fibre reinforced polyester (PES-GRP), glass fibre reinforced epoxy resins (EP-GRP), ABS, and PVC. Sika® Primer-209 D is manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 / 14001 quality assurance system and the responsible care program. Sika recommend adhesion tests on substrates are carried out due to the individual chemical composition of the formulation. Manufacturer's advice should also be sought before using the primer on thermoplastics that are prone to stress cracking, such as acrylics, polycarbonates or ABS etc.
Part No. SK-75235
Note: Seek manufacturer's advice and perform tests on original substrates before using Sikaflex®-296 on materials prone to stress cracking. Also, please order adaptor and nozzle separately.
