Your Servicing Equipment

Is your aircon unit ready? When was the last time you treated it to a service? Just like a car, an air conditioning machine requires a service each year to ensure it is performing as it should.

We have a range of warranty and service packages available to ensure your machine is kept in tip top condition ready for aircon seasons for years to come. If a package doesn’t fit your business needs, we also have one off servicing available.

Training

■ As well as having the right equipment, the right training is essential when providing aircon servicing and repairs. To do any work on an aircon system you must have qualifications that meet the minimum requirements of multiple regulations. The consequences of continuing to recover, transfer or handle refrigerant without the relevant qualifications are punishable by law. This applies to an employer and an employee. ■ These requirements have now been adopted by City & Guilds of London Institute (C&G) and Institute of Motor Industry Awards Limited (IMIAL). After 4th of July 2010

Here’s why it is essential to get your machines serviced regularly: ■ To ensure efficient operation and component reliability. ■ To prevent internal corrosion of your machine.

only personnel possessing one of these qualifications will be considered as legally qualified to take delivery, handle, and recover fluorinated refrigerant gases. ■ Plus, with the quickly evolving market for hybrid and electric vehicles and a huge focus on the environment, the AC system has gone through tremendous changes that require regularly updated training.

■ To ensure optimum charging performance and to prevent over charging. ■ To comply with the terms of some ISO quality management systems e.g., PAS125 where required. ■ To keep the machine software up to date. ■ To meet applicable S.A.E standards (J2099) as well as adhering to the environmental protection act (1990) and Workshop Equipment Regulation 1998.

■ We can offer you training at all levels to ensure your workforce are equipped to deal with any AC job that comes their way. For more information, call your local branch or visit Auto Education Academy.
