ZF Automatic Transmission Level 1

This course is aimed at garage technicians / mechanics for Car and Light Commercial Vehicles applications. The course covers the key aspects of automatic transmission operation and covers servicing requirements for ZF Automatic transmissions. On completion of the course the candidate will have knowledge of how an automatic transmission operates, including torque converter operation and parts identification.

The below courses have been developed to help technicians stay up to date with the ever-changing mechanics of a vehicles clutch and transmission system INA timing drive technology workshop - Ensure you avoid catastrophic engine failure

We have all the training your technicians need. Level 2 and 3 award in hybrid electric vehicle routine maintenance activities, system repair and replacement Other subjects covered include high voltage air conditioning compressors, DC-DC converters, PTC heater assemblies along with high pressure hydraulic braking systems and the management between conventional braking and regeneration braking balance.

Level 4 award in the diagnosis testing and repair of electric/hybrid vehicles and components Level 4 provides further understanding of HV battery management for both nickel metal hybrid and lithium ion batteries, the operation and control of inverters/ converters and the methods to control three phase synchronous brushless drive motors/generators.
