Hull Anodes MG Duff sacrificial hull anodes are designed to provide effective cathodic protection for boats and vessels, safeguarding against corrosion in various water environments. Sacrificial anodes work by superimposing an electrochemical cell that halts the natural corrosion of metals, protecting critical components such as hulls, outdrives, and propellers. They are bonded to the metal requiring protection and waste away in place of the protected surface.
