Edge and Magnatec oils, what’s the difference? Castrol EDGE and Magnatec differ primarily in their technology and target application. EDGE is designed for high performance vehicles and focuses on reducing friction and increasing engine performance, particularly under pressure. Magnatec, on the other hand, emphasizes wear protection by clinging to critical engine parts like a magnet and locking in place, offering 50% better protection.

New pack sizes and price realignment

We’ve been adding to our MPM range of oils To keep our range of MPM products up to date, we’ve been adding in new sizes into our portfolio. Overall, we have added another 39 Skus to the range which breakdown as follows:

New to range

• 3 x 4 litres • 3 x 5 litres • 7 x 20 litres • 26 x 205 litre barrels These are new sizes to our original MPM range Good to know

We’ve also been adjusting our pricing strategy

To make sure we have an aligned price strategy, our MPM oils have now been repositioned so that they are priced above Triple QX but sit below Shell so there is a clear differentiator between all our oil brands. Lastly, we have also launched MPM out to B2C customers to grow brand recognition.
