FUEL PUMPS

A range of pumps designed for the fuel system in your boat. This includes a variety of fuel lift pumps designed for specific engines, as well as pumps to transfer fuel quickly and efficiently. Fuel primer pumps are designed to fit to the head of a fuel filter to help prime the engine.

SELF PRIMING DIESEL TRANSFER PUMPS Jabsco self priming diesel transfer pumps have a cast iron pump head with an aluminium body. They include an integral fuse switch and hose adaptors. These diesel transfer pumps are suitable for use between -30°C and +40°C and can self prime up to 2.8 metres vertical lift. Suitable for the transfer of diesel and light oils. Must not be used with petrol or other flammable liquids. Some of the impeller pumps on page 228 can be used for this.

FUEL PUMPS

Small, compact, solid state electric fuel pumps. Typical uses include: fuel transfer, fuel polishing and fuel pump. These compact solid state fuel pumps are suitable for pumping diesel, petrol (gasoline), biodiesel, blended alcohol fuels and fuel additives. The solid state design of these fuel pumps enables them to be small, efficient and incredibly reliable. There are no electrical contacts and no bearings or diaphragm to wear out in these fuel pumps. For best results, mount the fuel pump close to the fluid or fuel tank and below the liquid level. • Positive lead - plain (no terminal) • Negative lead - 0.25” (ring terminal) • Maximum dry lift: 300mm • Operating temperature range: -40°C to 82°C (-40°F to 180°F)
