INLINE VENTILATION BLOWERS

Inline blowers are mounted directly into the air conduit, making installation very simple. The inline blowers typically use smaller motors compared to snail cam blowers, however with new motor technologies available, some of the inline blowers available today are well suited to commercial applications. Inline blowers are not only suitable for engine rooms, they can also be used in bilges, heads and the galley compartment. We can also supply ducting hose, vent outlets, gratings and switch panels to suit.

INLINE BLOWERS

VENTILATION

The SHURflo YellowTail inline ventilation blowers have a unique nylon fan that includes 6 blades to ensure high performance and efficient ventilation. Installation of the YellowTail inline blower is made easy with extended barbs and a slotted mounting bracket. The motor and wires are sealed for corrosion resistance and the motor shaft is also sealed to ensure protection from moisture and prolong lifespan.

Quiet and compact Low current draw Cable ties provided

These blowers are made from corrosion resistant materials, including a nickel plated motor, to extend life and maintain performance. The motor shaft is also sealed for moisture protection. All of this makes the Jabsco Rule blowers very efficient ventilators which can handle high volumes of air flow. They can be simply installed in any position on any flat surface to suit the application for which it is being used.

The inline blower units are suitable for extraction and are not approved for fitment to inlet vents for engine intake. All marine engines are able to draw sufficient air to operate efficiently, provided that the vent openings are adequate. The purpose of these extraction blowers is to remove air / fumes from the engine room once the engine is stopped. Extraction ventilators should never be operated when the engine(s) are running. The suction power of the engine(s) may over-rotate the ventilator and cause the electric motor to burn out.

SNAIL CAM BLOWERS

SNAIL CAM BLOWERS Snail cam blowers are available in two mounting options, either directly to the hose or to a flange on the bulkhead. Featuring a more robust motor than inline blowers, these blowers are perfect for heavy duty or commercial applications. • Flexmount and flangemount options • Made from corrosion resistant materials • Nickel plated motor, to extend life and maintain performance • Sealed motor shaft for moisture protection • Can handle high volumes of air flow • Quiet and have a low current draw • Give higher output in more complex installations, such as those with long lengths of ducting hose or those with multiple bends FLEXMOUNT BLOWERS These blowers are suitable for flexible mounting where a bracket is used to mount the blower to any solid surface.
