MULTI-CHOICE WATER INJECTION BENDS

Standard fixed engine exhaust outlets are usually found bolted to the engine exhaust manifold. The water injected exhaust outlet mixes the engine exhaust gas and raw water coolant before it enters into the flexible wet exhaust system. Due to the mixing of exhaust gas and raw water in this component it is advisable to include an inspection of the exhaust system as part of your list of jobs before leaving port, as corrosion may occur over a period of time.

Engine manufacturers supply water injected exhaust outlets in a wide variety of styles, shapes and sizes. The problem may be that the replacement you require is no longer available, it is very expensive, or the position of the outlet is not in the best place to suit your engine room layout. With these factors in mind we have designed the Seaflow multi-choice water injection bends (WIB’s) which give you the opportunity to select the components to build a water injected exhaust outlet to suit your engine installations particular application.
