CAV TYPE FUEL FILTERS The ever popular CAV type filters are fitted to many vessels in operation today. These low cost units are available in a range of options, including glass bowls to allow visual inspection and aluminium bowls for use on inland waterways. These CAV type fuel filters can also be mounted directly to the engine. We offer a choice between pre-filter and separators (which are available with or without the filter element). Some CAV filters come with an integrated hand fuel priming pump, although priming pumps are available to retro fit on to these filters with the use of a banjo bolt. These filters do not offer the Aquabloc® protection that a Racor filter unit offers. Please don’t hesitate to contact us should you need advice on upgrading to Racor fuel filters.
