Meet the Interns
Name: Alessandro Kumarasinghe Hometown/location: Watford
Tell us about a funny / memorable / proud work moment… I successfully completed all elements of the NCS award. I built many friendships with new people and really enjoyed working together to complete our social project of organising activities for the elderly, as well as collaborating in a team to survey the public about local community issues. Tell us what you’re most looking forward to this year! I’m looking forward to working for the company and gaining experience in working in the real world whilst also building connections with the people I will be working with.
Job role and business area: Finance Assistant – Management Accounts at T2
Tell us about your school/uni history: I attend Aston University where I’m in my third year of studying Economics. Talk about working in the branch/ your induction so far… My first 2 weeks of working has been amazing. I’ve met lots of new people who were extremely friendly and helped me settle in. I will be working in the Management Accounts team for the first six months where I will be preparing reports and journals. I’m looking forward to liaising with other areas of finance and assisting with everyday tasks.
And finally, tell us something interesting about you…
I was born and raised in Italy and support Napoli who are better than your favourite team.
