DRY EXHAUST SILENCERS

For many commercial and narrow boat applications, a dry exhaust silencer system is the only option. Similar to an automotive design, marine dry exhaust silencers are generally of a heavier construction and available in various levels of noise reducing ability. This is because of the requirements of live aboard applications and comfort requirements where owners require minimum noise levels. Depending on the level of noise reduction required the Quietlife range offers 3 dry exhaust silencer options. To complement these we offer flanges, flexible exhaust piping, flexible weld bellows, rain caps and non-asbestos lagging. We have shown the range of Quietlife silencers which we hold in stock. 112 EXHAUST SILENCERS

Medium duty The Quietlife 112 series of dry exhaust silencers are made from welded steel and are rated medium duty for noise absorption. The gases pass through a centre duct which is surrounded by sound absorbent material and is subjected to a minimal level of resistance. Attenuation graph shown online at www.asap-supplies.com

The Quietlife 114 series of dry exhaust silencers are made from welded steel and are rated residential for increased noise absorption. These silencers incorporate an expansion and multi pass section to attenuate the lower frequency sounds and a sound absorption section to attenuate the higher frequency sounds.
